Lauren Best was captivated by the magic of animation early on. Memorizing lines from My Little Pony to Megamind, she knew family entertainment was her path. She went on to earn a BFA in Animation & Digital Arts at Florida State University’s College of Motion Picture Arts, graduating in Summer 2025. During her final semester, she interned at Torchlight Studios, where she honed her technical and creative skills in a virtual‑production environment.
Lauren has a passionate commitment to creating content that’s genuinely engaging for children—not just filler content, but thoughtful media that respects young viewers as a viable audience. She follows her love of visual storytelling in cinematography, light design, and compositing, where there’s a reason behind every choice. When she’s not working on freelance CG projects, you’ll find her coaching tennis to kids, keeping her love of both visual communication and youth development alive.
